Lounge Fly - Band Profile and Sample Music
Like a drizzle on a mid summer's day.... That's the type of music that I would personally tag this band. They're indeed young coz all of them are still in college, but their musicality transcends and defies the old adage that with age comes reason and wisdom. Coz right now, they've got a lot of it.  Lounge Fly is consist of Paul Rivera (vocals), Jan Barga (bass guitar, back vocals), Jay-r Yuzon (guitar), Niňo Sioco (guitar), and Jed Lozada (drums). Its birth sometime in 2005 was all Paul’s idea to create a band that will focus more on making original compositions. He then approached and asked his friend Jan to help him actualize the idea, and Jan later requested his brother Lance to play the drums. Jay-r, one of their present guitarists, decided to join after hearing them jamming near the freedom wall in Silliman University. Jan listens to STP songs a lot, which made him suggest the title of STP’s song Lounge Fly to be their band name. As there was an immediate need to come up with a band name because they were joining a band contest, everybody in the group agreed upon Jan’s suggested name to be their temporary band name. Later on, they got used to it and decided to stick with it. Niňo became a part of Lounge Fly after joining several jamming sessions. The group realized that Niňo perfectly filled the space it needed to create the sound they wanted. Soon after, Jan deliberately informed his brother Lance that he will be replaced since the band decided to go to the extremes and that they needed a more seasoned drummer. Jed soon after took the place of Lance, who then completed the the band’s current line-up. Catch the FLY at Hayahay Treehouse Bar and Viewdeck every Saturday and at The Minimik every Friday. this was the first one na narinig ko sa kanila, it's called IT DIES TONIGHT the resemblance to mainstream emo-glitch is there pero kakaiba pa rin ang blend ng tugtugan nila. listen to it better yet, DL nyo na dito... and again, spread the FLY all over... |

steady lang kayo sprak, hielle at tongzki...
may di pa ako na uupload na originals ng Lounge Fly... yung Eleanor, Flimsy Lovers at Utopia... nagloloko kasi conection ko pero over the weekend when its done makukuha nyo rin yun... i promise you, titindig balahibo nyo dun...  |
